Recent Random Photo's

A few photos from the past few weeks.
This is how I found her one morning.
Little jail-bird.

We visited my Grandparents a few weeks ago in Bartow.
Aislin adored Papa and anything he did warranted a load of laughs from her.

Almost a year later and she still loves this dress.
She always wants to wear dresses.

We went to the Inflatable Fun Factory with some friends.
Aislin liked crawling around and pulling herself up next to things...

Eibhlin mostly just wanted to slide.
Those are some photos I had on my camera from the past month.

A day at the beach

I took the girs (that's how Eibhlin says girls) to the beach. Aislin's first time, Eibhlin's second. It was a great day. Good weather, calm water and lots of fun times! Aislin did such a great job. She loved sitting at the waters edge, the water sometimes bowling her over. She just laughed and sat back up. She really enjoyed eating the seaweed. Delish! Eibhlin wanted only to be out in the water.

She was ALL smiles ALL day!

We had such a good time and they did so well that I think we'll make a habit out of this.

"It's been a while" is a bit of an understatement

Eibhlin is 2 1/2 eagerly awaiting her third birthday. Everyday she tells whoever will listen "today is my birthday!". I shake my head and she says "not yet..." in a disapointed voice.

Aislin, our newest addition, is 8 months old. She's progressed from the military crawl to the full blown, hand and knees crawling. She also likes to pull herself up and stand next to whatever she can. They make me smile, laugh and go crazy.

As for me, I'm just counting down until Josh gets home. Home stretch now. He left in November and he'll be home sometime in the middle of July. We recently moved from our home in Georgia to Florida for us to be closer to my family. When Josh does get home we have 30 days to get to Texas to start his next 3 year tour (non-deploying, HALLELUIA!).

I've caught up to the present. Now let's see if I can keep this blogging mess up.

Eibhlin Parker

Our sweet little girl was born at 1:26 am on August 18 weighing in at a shocking 9lb 6oz. She's been a joy since the moment she arrived. With some amazing coaching from Josh I was able to have her without any form of pain relievers. Whew, did I mention she was 9lb 6oz? I'd do it again in a heart beat though. She's now 7 months old and crawling. Boy, the mobility changes a lot of things. Her favorite things are eating, sleeping, moving and bath time.

Here We Go

It seems I've started a trend. Everyone I know is following my lead with blogging. Actually I think I'm the one behind. I've wanted to start one for a while, just never sat down to do it. So here we go. Josh and I have been married since June of 2005 and we have an awesome, beautiful, happy little girl named Eibhlin (Eve-Lynn not Evelyn) who was born in August of 2007. I've never been a fan of odd years and it seems I need to become one. Well, let's get to the goodness. Check out some photos and videos of our family (mostly of Eibhlin).
